Ermitage is a country inn nestled in the heart of the Swiss Alps. Since it was taken over by new management a more sustainable travel experience is being developed. Marketing materials needed to be updated to reflect Ermitage's new look and feel.
The country inn Ermitage in Chateau d’Oex contacted Swap to prepare custom content to be used during the launch of the renovated establishment as well as redesign their website. The owner being an avid collector and seller of art, it was especially important to incorporate that in the material.
We were able to capture the spirit of this magical location in the swiss alps and use it to spread the brand’s message of eco-tourism and local attachment to the community.
Portraying an experience before it happens can always be a challenge. The travel industry needs to convince potential travellers to book their services before trying them. Video and photography are key elements to any travel marketing initiative. Swap developed basic video and photographic content for Ermitage to be able to kick-off it's new "Country Inn" styled approach.
In 2020, Ermitage approached Swap for a simple website solution. Due the client's urgency, Swap delivered a key-in-hand self managed website within a 48 hour time frame.
The Ermitage website integrates a booking engine and highlights the establishment's key features.
